While our building has been shut down, we have been making plans. We are currently in Phase 2 of “Re-imagining Life Together.” In phase 2 essential services are permitted. Up to 10 people may gather for meetings, worship planning and essential services. Everyone entering the building must:
- Sign In. We need to know what part of the church you have visited to maintain sanitation. In the event anyone were to get sick; We want to be able to minimize any possible exposure.
- Wear a face covering. We have volunteers making face masks for your use. We also have disposable surgical masks. If you have donations of masks, please drop them off in the office.
- Social/physical distance 6 feet apart. No hugs, high fives, or fist bumps
- Sanitize all surfaces touched. Essential Service groups are responsible for cleaning and sanitizing their spaces.
- Sanitize rest room after every use. Instructions are posted.
- In building worship has been put on hold. Alternative worship opportunities
- Worship at home ZOOM worship by phone or computer, along with Nahelem Bay UMC, Bay City UMC and Camp McGruder. Click button below for instructions.
- Worship in Wesley Room. A computer and TV will be set up for a limited number of people to share ZOOM Worship. All health and safety protocols must be followed. Please reserve your space by contacting office.
- Worship with a neighbor. ZOOM into church with a neighbor. Click button below for instructions.
We are not alone or adrift. Transitions are not easy. If you have any questions or concerns give the church office a call. The building is closed, but we are here. We are the Church. We are the Church together.
